Hello, all.
I'm Max Mercer. I'll spare you the details, but I suggest you check out my biography if you wish to know more about me and why I'm here.
This will take some getting used to; I've been using the OpNet for far too long, particularly given the user-interface enhancements int he next century-plus.
Now I simply need to discover what the devil Donighal is up to.

My one significant display of power in the year or so since I got here happened last November on Luna, and didn't create anything more than a brand-new crater. (I briefly considered having a third go at playing originist, but one of the friends I've made down at my local talked me out of it as I was half-hoping she'd do.)
Respectfully submitted,
Michael Daemon Donighal

You certainly seem to have changed quite a bit in the last eighty years, Michael.

As safe as I can get. If this Earth has any secret government agencies devoted to handling that sort of thing, either they haven't noticed me, or they've sensed my power and decided to give me a wide berth unless I do something they can't cover up.

Well, only sixty really. And, just to let you know, the major changes to my thinking came in the first ten, from meditating on your Considerations for Moderation. Given the effect the last paragraph had on my decision to depart in '61, I deemed the whole thing worthy of a second look. (Took me long enough, damn me.)
